The Process
Ten steps to
safer storage.
Our pre-storage process is carried out before we store any vehicle. All cared for and maintained onsite by HCB.

Your car arrives
Collected by our team or delivered by you, into our secure facility. Feel free to stay for a coffee, we know it is hard to let go.

The car enters HCB
Our wash and inspection facility is onsite, reducing any chance of contamination. The car moves into the inspection bay.

Maintenance wash
If required, the vehicle is cleaned and prepped, with seat, wheel and floor covered before it is moved.

Pre-storage inspection
Condition, tyre treads and pressure, fluids topped up if needed, and battery health, all checked thoroughly.

Inspection results
We share the results with you and quote for any work, if anything is not quite right.

Air dry
A 24 hour air dry in a controlled environment lets the car acclimatise to its new surroundings.

Photographed
The car is documented before storage. We send you the photos, so you do not have to miss it too much.

Brakes cycle
Cycling the brakes removes surface rust and lets the engine reach temperature one last time.

Storage
Into a dedicated bay in our fully dehumidified 20,000 sqm space, window slightly ajar, handbrake off.

The car is covered
A soft, breathable HCB cover, a battery conditioner trickling power, and a drip tray. Tucked in.
Daily
Kept undercover day to day, with a daily inspection of the site to flag anything untoward.
Weekly
Battery conditioner status and drip trays double checked, every week without fail.
Bi-monthly
Uncovered, started, warmed to temperature and moved to avoid flat spots, then tucked back in.
Way more than a barn
A clubhouse for the obsessed.
A restored brick barn with oak beams and an open fire, where owners linger over a coffee, keep an eye on their cars, and talk shop with people who get it.
